Sorry to hear that man. I'd like to come check out the fish room again sometime soon and get ideas.

Well guys this build is over. Tank cracked all in the back. Just noticed it. It has black paint on the back and I never saw it till today when I went to fill it.

I don't think it's worth the cost or where to even look to fix it. Shoot me ideas if you know someone.
 
Quite confused, i thought this was practically a brand new tank from another member. Did it get cracked during transportation?
 
It was pretty much new. I'm not sure if it was the moving crew or during transportation. Although I gave it a great look over. It could of simply been when I tightened then bulk heads. Not sure. Just know I can do anything with it and buying a new tank won't happen.
 
I had planned to run water today and start cycling.


Im trying to contact Planet aquariums now. Sea Atlanta Is also trying to quote me a price for the rebuild.

just sucks as I paid a moving crew 200 bucks to move this Twice!

Sea Atlanta is the only other Home company I know who does the PVC bottom.
 
Emails have Been sent out to Sea and To Planet to see if Either one can Rebuild it.

Im hoping for the best. Ive sunk more in this build then I had planned. I only use Money from selling reef items or trading for the hobby. Nothing more and Im at my peek of Extra. My wife really felt bummed for me. She saw how much I wanted this.

All I can do now is wait for a quote

How bad is it cracked, is it up high on the wall. Is it possible to patch?
 
Man, so sorry to hear this!!! Good to see you have the fighting spirit, and haven't given up. I'm sure it can be fixed. Hang in there. I'll brainstorm, and ask around here to see if any ideas come up...
 
The entire back panel has a crack.

That stinks kris I really know how u feel. I've had a few builds go sour from having tanks built that were done wrong to cracked tanks. I'm hoping for them best.

As much as it sucks, at least you found out NOW instead of 200 gallons into the fill.
 
Sea Atlanta is unable to fix it. Reaching out to planet aquariums but its doubtful. Can't believe this is how I go out.
