I have several 15 and 20 gallon holding tanks that I light with 24" HO T5 fixtures, 2 or 3 tubes per tank. Well time has come to replace the bulbs and I think I would like to put the money towards some LED fixtures instead.
Current need is for 3 - 24" fixtures.
Currently have 48-72W of T5 lighting over each so I think 20-50W of LED should be plenty.
I like to leave the fixture sitting on top of the glass tops, not suspended. I realize the glass tops cut down on light penetration but am keeping them.
I am capable of building DIY fixtures but don't really like the DIY look so I am open to this if someone has info on making a cost effective, nice looking fixture.
I think this may be a stretch in such a small fixture but I would like separate power cords for blue and white.
Anyone have ideas?
I found these: Any feedback on these?

And of course, there is always this fixture but I feel this is WAAAAYYYY overkill for a 15 gallon tank. [IMG]http://www.ebay.com/itm/330869771558?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649">http://www.ebay.com/itm/330869771558?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649</a>
