Alright, the old saying goes "a picture is worth .......". Please post some pictures of your RODI setup! I'm wanting to set one up that will allow me to perform preventative maintenance. What kind of valves, connectors, etc. do you use in your RODI setup? Remember; "a picture is worth ......."

P.S. I'm wanting to setup a pre-filter setup to catch any Georgia clay that may get mixed in. Occasionally. Georgia clay appears in my drinking water.

GE merlin, after the booster pump I'm getting close to 800 gpd. The product is split off, 1 goes into the 2 brute cans I use to fix salt water (brutes are plumped together to hold about 90 gallons of salt water) the other goes into a 20 tall holding RO/DI for top off. The drain line is connected to a 1" pvc pipe running along my wall into the sink. The pvc line comes from a 20 gallon tank I use as a flush tank for water changes.

I'm not too concern with water coming in since it's only reading 45 TDI. My set-up as a pre carbon filter, 2 RO membrane and a post filter before going into the dual DI filters. I feed the RO/DI off the cold water line from my sink.

Plumbed my salt water container straight to my tank so I can flip a switch and fill up my tank. It's made water changes a breeze. Also plumbed my rodi to a hose line in my basement.

I appreciate the posts so far and the pictures are very helpful. Thank you both. With all the Reefers around; only two posted here. Is it because everyone else purchases their RODI water from a local vendor? Or is it because everyone else doesn't have a camera? Come on, people. Let's see some ....... RODI setups!

You could always clean up the mess with Photoshop :D  ?

P.S. Or you could just state "This is the setup my neighbor has."

Well I didn't really feel worthy to post because it's nothing fancy, but since you asked again, here you go! I am in a rental house so keeping it simple. :) Just tied into the cold water line in the laundry room. I went to the store with the jugs for a year. Adding this last summer was one of the best decisions! Helps staying on top of water changes so much more convenient!

Thanks for posting the pictures. As old as I am, any photos are appreciated; even if it is simplistic. Sometimes one tends to over think things; when truly a simple answer was all that was needed. Also, there are others viewing the photos; so hopefully I'm not the only one whom learns here.

I'm definitely learning too! The more pics the better.

I've got it simple too so I'm hoping to see an easier way to keep it simple yet make it bigger and easier.

More posts please, it don't have to be elaborate...

Here's mine, fairly simple set up. It's a 90 gallons per day unit, dual TDS sensors, pressure gauges, and it's split off before the DI so it supplies drinking water to the kitchen and ice makers. The drain line is attached to the sinks drain underneath the sink. Added a pressurized 14-15 gal (blue cylinder in the on the floor) that has a ready supply on demand. I have a total of 105 gallons between my tanks and change out 15 gals a week so it's always ready to go. I fill my buckets in the utility sink through a dedicated faucet.

That's a great idea about splitting it to the kitchen! I have always thought it was ironic that I have this ro/di unit in my house and I only use it to provide high quality water to my fish and corals, but not to myself. :)

I'm not the only one learning from my posts here at ARC. I love this place! The ARC that is.

Mine in a compact space, the 25~gallons reservoir tank was a perfect fit for that space but wasn't designed for it, I gave the dimensions I was needing to MRC and they made it for me, the RO-DI was connected to cold water supply in this laundry room, after a two way copper valve, after that there's a solenoid connected to a timer, then the booster pump and finally the first stage filter. I have those hoses dangling there because they were for the fast-flush drain straight from the two membranes bypassing the DI resin

Antonio: Where did you find the 25~gallons reservoir tank? What did you pay for it? If it's better for you, you can PM me the info. Thanks.

It isn't much, but here's mine. I just set it up in my basement over the past couple of weeks. Unfortunately I did not have a sink available so I had to use a saddle valve to tap into a cold water pipe. It was probably overkill, but I used a high-pressure refrigerator water line after the saddle valve that connects to a cut off valve before going to the RODI. For the waist line, I drilled a quarter inch hole in the house waste line and then fed t8he tube into it. I have another 20 gallon Brute trash can for mixing the salt water that fits underneath the one down.
