Being an ARC MEMBER its real easy to check the forums to see who is selling what and how cheap we can get it. However I've been doing a lot of thinking and without our sponsors we probably wouldn't have started in this GREAT hobby to begin with. So all I am saying is let's show them our support this month and try and buy from one of our LFS sponsors.... support small business... after all its how we were all created. Tell me who you prefer and why....

Edit: Oh and please no bashing title says appreciation...

Pure Reef - friendly knowledgeable staff + awesome store.

I've done business with Spikes, Nemos, and Reefworks. Very satisfied with all!!!

Spikes and Reefworks will ship too!!! Great perk for someone living sofa king far away!!!

Was wondering if I'd get away with that one. LOL...

Not hard to support the LFS when Atlanta is LOADED with great fish stores. I would imagine Atlanta is one of the top 10 cities for saltwater stores. Places like Pure Reef and SEA Atlanta have to be on par with any other store out there. I'm tickled to even be alongside these bigs boys as a sponsor.

I for one almost never ordered anything online as a hobbyist. Part of the fun of this hobby is going into the bright, colorful, LFS and just browsing, talking, and relating to other people who share the same interest. Good luck doing that on LiveAquaria

Yeah, Man. You are right. I really wish there were more LFS's here in Montgomery, AL. I can probably count on one hand the amount of reef stores in the entire state of Alabama. I really do miss the perusing around the couple of times that I visited Atlanta for livestock. I'm sure Simon at Nemos thinks I'm crazy because I literally spent all day in his store.

You post some good pictures as well Ryan. One reason I was comfortable with ordering from you.

I'm definetely hoping to get out and visit more stores next time I make it to Atlanta...

I agree... much more fun to actually see the products before you buy... Not to get political but I believe in supporting small business more so than big chains as the small business is the backbone of the local economy. And your right we are fortunate enough to live in an area covered with these stores... However I would have to say one of the most knowledgeable and friendly staff I have ever met would be Imagine Ocean.... I like honesty... and if something might not do right in your tank Jenn will strongly encourage you to think twice... I would say much of my success with reef keeping is due to this.

Amen to that. I only visit "a chain store that will remain nameless" a certain chain store for $1.00 per gallon sales. I don't even look at the livestock. It'll aggravate me...

Payback for all of that shoe shopping we do with them. LOL...

There hasn't been a sponsor I have been too that I don't like I try to go to all of them to help support them I think it is a great thing the arc and the sponsors do

I have a reef tank that's almost exclusively corals from Rit at Atlanta Aquarium. It's my favorite tank to sit and stare at.
