Lifespan of Coral Banded Shrimp?

I got home from work today, and the Coral Banded Shrimp that I've had since I got into this hobby, almost 4 yrs ago, was dead.:sad:

I looked online and most sites claim they have a lifespan of 3-4yrs. All my parameters seem fine so maybe it was old age? Whats the longest y'all have kept one of these?

I've had mine for a year or two now. Are you sure it's not a really full body molt?

Hmmm...mine is going on 4 years soon too but so far alive and kicking.

He was the first shrimp I ever bought for my 12gal nano...moved when I upgraded to my 54 corner and again after the transfer to the 75 while I moved to Kentucky, and finally to the 125 gal. I have now. He was quite the trooper!
