Just acquired the 72" Aquaticlife T5 HO (4 x 39 watt whites and 4 x 39 watt actinics) light fixture w/ LED moonlights. I have the smallest colony of Xenia (smaller than dime sized) on one rock. Planning to obtain some yellow polyps soon. I plan to upgrade the bulbs w/ ATI bulbs at some point. But as it stands now what are my limitations in terms of what I can keep and what I can't? Tank is 125 gallon, 72" x 18" x 24". Thanks!

24" deep with only 4 bulbs, you're going to be pretty limited. You can definitely keep the vast majority of soft corals, and you might be able to get away with a few LPS toward the top. I think you'd have a lot of trouble keeping any SPS without upgrading.
If you want to try LPS, try something in the Euphyllia family (torch, frogspawn, hammer). Place them as high as you can in the tank and see how they do. You may be able to find some other mid to lower light LPS as well if you ask around.

I think he has 8 bulbs. 4 daylight and 4 actinic. I think you should be fine to grow whatever. I have 6 bulbs at 39w and I have SPS. you might want to look at Geisman or Korallen-Zucht bulbs as they have some of the best T5 bulbs on the market.

HA! That's what I get for skimming. My bad.
With 8 bulbs, you shouldn't have any problem keeping pretty much anything you want.

Hopefully not being rude by hijacking this thread, but on a similar note I have 2 white + 2 actnic 48" t5's on a 75g long. They are 54w each. Solar Xtreme is the brand. Any limitations I should be aware of? I have 18" of water to sand.
