I decided I wanted to setup a container to cure some old live rock I picked up. it is still covered in coraline. I know I don't want to add it to my tank because i may create a cycle and kill off everything.
I picked up the rugged brand rubbermaid 30g container.
I am using a mag 7 (overkill) its creating way too much flow but its the only spare pump I got to work with atm. I have it seated now in the tank where the flow is limited down some with it facing towards the bottom of the container but im worried about leaving it running while im not at home. Would I be able to unplug this during the day and just plug it up while im around the house or does the pump need to run non stop. I could trrow one of my nano koralia in there in stead but I was thinking this wouldn't be enough flow to create full circulation
