Anyone ever ordered from them? I placed an order 3/23 for 20 lbs and so far hasn't shipped. I emailed them last Thursday and roger responded and said it would ship in a day or two but so far hasn't. Is this typical? I'm a noob

So I have now done a google search of reviews for LRR and it doesn't look good. I sent an email asking if I can get a refund since it apparently still hasn't shipped. I'll post their response (if I get one).

I've always bought my live rock locally. I like hand picking each and every piece so I can have full use of the rock (no wasted or awkward pieces).

Hopefully I'll get a refund and just pretend this never happened! Then I'll drive to a decent lfs, even if not so local, and pick some out... Any suggestions? I'm in macon.

Pure Reef, Sea Atlanta and Imagine Ocean would be the three I would recommend. It doesn't hurt that they are the three closest to me.

I would call them and see who has the best price. All have a good selection and all three support the club. There are others as well. For the most part, if they are an ARC sponsor they are pretty good.

Something that I just saw that is probably incredibly amusing to everyone but me right now... I looked on my credit card statement to verify that the payment was taken out for liverockranch so that I could request a refund, guess what it says under merchant type!?! "Fireworks, trophies, gravestones" wtf?!?! Again... Part laughing, part crying right now... Thank god only 20 lbs!

You can always go with dry rock. I ordered a bunch of Marco rocks and it shipped the next day. I am super happy with the clean bone white rock, and best of all I know there aren't any hitch hikers. It's really pretty cheap too, definitely something to consider.

Goodluck with the refund, hopefully they will make it right.

Rit, at Atlanta Aquarium has a ton of differents types of Live Rock, and The Aviarium is another great store with lots of choices, and I could go walking there every day hehehe, Macon... ahh...

When dealing with a refund, fraud or anything related to the two, time is of the essence. If they were a stand up vendor they would have shipped your product out as promised; however, they have not. Do not be so nice and sympathetic to companies who's sole gain is to get over on other people. Like stated before I would go ahead and dispute the charges with your CC. Also save all messages, emails and any other usable info to forward to your CC as to build a better case in your favor that you truly were taking advantage of and scammed. Also I would try and forward the links of other peoples account to show it isn't a isolated incident and that way possibly they can get in trouble with the BBB.

Tried to dispute charges, Bank of America says you have to wait 15 days to allow shipping so I can dispute on 4/7
