I want to move my lobophyllia to a better location. Does anyone know what a safe distance for other corals would be? I’ve seen it’s filaments at night but they were not extended.

Our has been fine close to other corals as long as they didn’t touch. If they touched it stung the other coral and killed it.
I've kept Scolys and Yuma mushrooms about 2.5 inches away from a large Lobo for 6 months now, and all good.
