I currently use a 20g long for my top off tank. I'm looking for something with a smaller footprint.

Something like Melev's Resevoir

Anyone got any suggestions?

10-15 gal is not really small IMHO. Heck, I use a 3 gal container on my 150 =)

For 15 gal, check out the Gamma Vittles Vaults. They're made for dog food, but the big one holds 15G of water. I use it for my water changes. If I had more room I'd use that for my ATO.

Edit: Looking at Melev's though, that would be GREAT in the footprint I have to use. Dunno. Contact SEA to see what a custom one would cost. If they're cheaper than Melev's I'd be interested in one =)

Yea, my reservoir isn't attached to my my rodi. So, I have to pour a 5 gallon bucket of water in it every 3 days or so

My RO/DI is attached to my 5 gallon bucket topoff container, but it's still a pain in the butt to remember turn in on every two days. The worse part is when you forget to turn it off.

Whatever I upgrade to will have a float valve to prevent flooding. I'll still have to turn off the RO/DI, but, it won't be as catastrophic if I don't do it right away...

I like the look of the tall vittles container. Just wish it were clear. Got some measuring to do when I get home... Good to know I'm not the only one feeling this pain. Can't believe our tanks evaporate so much water. Sheesh...

I use this for my 300 did have it on a 120. Been using it for 3yrs now. It is hidden in a closet. It takes up very little space.

I bought a tall container from the container store near the perimeter area. it holds 13 gallons and fits nicely within my stock 55 gal stand. believe it was under $20. thats whay i have using for 3 years

Sounds like your looking for a kitchen trash can or a gift wrap container.

Yea, I saw those at the container store near permiter mall. But I decided on the kingsford kaddy. Looks like it'll hold about 8 gallons. I'll be able to get a better estimate when I get home

The problem with trash cans is that if they aren't round, they bow real bad and that makes me uncomfortable.

Just dawned on me as well that if I put in a taller ATO reservoir, it would siphon drain into my sump since the water height would be too great. ugh.

I usehttp://www.relianceproducts.com/products/hydration/217.html"> this</a>

It holds 5.5 gallons and is about 9" wide. Its perfect for fitting in your stand as it takes up very little space.
