Yeah both from the 13 is fine.

Also just looking back from at the pics. You could change the positions of the 2 vertical pipes. That might make it able to return it back to the 15 in section.

sadly i glued the pipes before i checked to see if it was going to work...
only pipe not glued is the one with the elbow

Ok all is not lost. Here is one option, while I think of others, go to home depot and buy those pices from the union up, you'll only use the non-threaded, and reconstruct the pipes to make it look like the gray pipes. But make it so it clears the 15 inches.
