Lost my Buddy today :(

I had an Orange spotted Goby that liked to come to the surface and see me. Id put my finger in the water and he'd come up to be pet....

I cam home from work and found him carpet surfing...what would make a stupid fish do this?

You should stop by Nemo fish, they have a couple HUGE ones if your thinking about replacing him for $20.

Seems like these guys are jumpers. I know of another reefer who had the same problem. If you get another one I suggest getting some mesh screening for the top too.

Sorry for the loss! Mine jumped one night when I didn't put the canopy on. That was a sad day! I loved that fish and now have another!

I'm working on a mesh top right now.....we are very close to one another (I work over in Covington behind the Home Depot). I should be finished and have extra mesh by mid week, next week (so I say I'm working on it right now.....translation: my boss is building them and he is out this week.....stuff is already bought). You are more than welcomed to the extra when you are ready to get yours together.

I feel your pain. I came home from work this past Monday to find that my chiller went crazy and froze all my fish and corals. The only things that survived were zoanthids and a gorgonian.

I lost: a six line wrass
bar goby (zebra)
2 firefish
apair of clowns
a engineer goby
2 chromis
a pajama cardinal
a manderin

a toadstool
a hand leather
2 acan colonies
a maze brain

I was just sick. Some of the fish i had for a couple years. :sad:

Man, that's too bad. Sorry to hear that. My lawnmower blenny of 5 years killed himself too when he hit the eggcrates so hard from jumping, it killed him.
