Mag calibration fluid source to test Elos kit?

I'm scratching my head after changing test kits for Mag. I used Salifert for 2 kits worth of tests and I was slowly switching to Elos kits. Well when my last Salifert mag kit was close to being used up I grabbed an Elos so I could do 2-3 more tests side by side. The salifert kit tested religiously in the 1200-1300 range, the Elos kit? 1600-1750! And no, I have not been dosing any mag. I've compared them on a fresh sample of Salinity makeup water with a label that says 1300-1400ish min-max. All of my tests usually end up with 36-40 drops on the first part of the test, and 5-6 on the 2nd.

I'm surprised someone like pinpoint doesn't offer mag calibration solution (that I can find) and the closest I have found are 1000ppm 'Standards' like this one

Anyone else have their Elos mag kit read way high like this? Is anyone aware of a misprint/change in the mag instructions? The KH kit I have has a misprinted instruction book (says 1 drop = 1dkh when come to find out the card in the box is right and it's 1 drop = .5dhk) so I'm wondering if the Mag instructions saying multiply the difference between the two tests by 50 is off.. I figure the only way I'm going to find out if it's off or not is to get my hands on a calibration fluid.

Thanks

I don't know about the Elos kit but Seachem's kits come with reference solution, so you can test the solution to verify the accuracy of the kit/one's testing method.
