I'd like to know ahead of time who would like one so I know how many of the larvae to seperate. The rest.... I don't think I can have 100 solo cups around my house with mantis shrimps.

They will survive, but they will use up their yolk sac quickly, which is the nutritious part. Thats why we hatch daily. Brine nauplii that are days old aren't nutritious.

The cheapest BS hatchery is using 2 2 liter bottles. I was going to explain but got long winded.:huh: I am sure you can find examples on internet. But I use a commercial one, and a home made one for my clown breeding. The homemade works great.

I have like 30 cups with around 5 shrimp in each.

Today's video. They are eating baby brine and getting pretty mobile.

very cool guys. If anyone needs brine shrimp eggs let me know. I have a large can in the fridge and they are still good. I hatched out some last month for my pipes.
As Glen said, it's not hard to hatch your own and all it takes is a pump, airstone and a soda bottle. the nhbs are only nutritous for about 18-24 hours and I would definitely soak them in Selcon or some thing similar.
