I could setup a hatchery in a ten gallon. Hmmmm. Youve got me thinking

I was told that they should keep for at least 4 or five days.

Hatching them would be an excellent option!

Y'all know I love videos. The little brown/green dots are the two larva.

So far I have :

Kris
Allen
John

I'd like to know ahead of time who would like one so I know how many of the larvae to seperate. The rest.... I don't think I can have 100 solo cups around my house with mantis shrimps.

Next weekend good for pickup

Or I can have my wife meet ob wednesday afternoon. She gets off at 1330. on wednesday

They will survive, but they will use up their yolk sac quickly, which is the nutritious part. Thats why we hatch daily. Brine nauplii that are days old aren't nutritious.

The cheapest BS hatchery is using 2 2 liter bottles. I was going to explain but got long winded. I am sure you can find examples on internet. But I use a commercial one, and a home made one for my clown breeding. The homemade works great.

Please tell me you want like 30

I have like 30 cups with around 5 shrimp in each.

I live far away as well and might be interested. If I find my way over there I'll let you know.
On a side note, do you think they'd eat tiger pods?

I've got at least 2000-3000 that I'm breading and those are exponentially growing

If you wait a Few weeks I bet they would.

You're welcome to as many as you would like.

Edit:

Maybe we should do a little trade action... :)

Ill do about as many as you want to give . It will increase my odds of survival

How far are you from auburn? Want half the stock? This is assuming that I can keep them alive until then.

If you come out to pick them up I'll hook you up with some
Birdsnest frags for lightening my load

Today's video. They are eating baby brine and getting pretty mobile.

very cool guys. If anyone needs brine shrimp eggs let me know. I have a large can in the fridge and they are still good. I hatched out some last month for my pipes.
As Glen said, it's not hard to hatch your own and all it takes is a pump, airstone and a soda bottle. the nhbs are only nutritous for about 18-24 hours and I would definitely soak them in Selcon or some thing similar.
