Event location: Big Fish Custom Acrylic Aquariums, 655 Hembree Parkway, Suite A Roswell, GA 30076
Date & Time: Saturday May 3rd - 10am - 2pm
Food: Nick's Smokehouse BBQ will be on site for lunch - Details to follow.
This is a true frag swap, so when replying to this thread to RSVP attendance - Please indicate if you will be bringing corals to trade. What if you don't have any corals to trade? No Problem! Members can elect to sell instead. Also, you don't have to trade coral for coral, for instance I will be trading a number of dragon soul torches for smiles (see me at the event) or donations to Gray's Reef! Why stop at corals? Bring your new or used equipment and sell or trade as well!

We will also be demonstrating how to frag and dip a variety of corals. Do you have something overgrowing your tank that you know other reefers would love to have? Please message @Cook . We are currently seeking an encruster coral of some kind, montipora, leptoseris, etc.. that we could use for members that would like to participate in a couple of contests we will hold during the rest of the year. After the demonstrations, frags will be available to supporting members first, and any remaining corals will be available for all attendees afterwards. The Frag demonstration corals will be FREE. We are still determining whether the contest corals will also be free or require a small payment to participate.

Charitable donations: We will be taking donations for Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary during the event and for the month of May. More info on Gray's Reef to follow, we plan to schedule an interactive virtual presentation later in May. Purchase an ARC T-shirt at the event and a portion of your purchase will go to Gray's as well.

What should you bring? A cooler, popup tent if you have one, sunscreen, and chairs. In case of rain we will move indoors.

What do you need to do now? 1) RSVP with a reply to this thread with the total number of people attending. 2) Indicate whether you will be bringing corals to swap / sell. 3) Indicate whether you will be bringing equipment to swap / sell.

1 attending, I’ll have a few things with me most likely mushrooms and forest fire digi frags. Maybe some dry goods.

Edit: I can bring a pop up tent with me and share if needed

2nd edit: I’ll also bring a few different types of macros with me: grape Caulerpa, pink flamingo, and red bush Gracilaria

I plan on attending and will bring 30+ frags, Several (5+) frags of utter chaos and bam-bam zoas, birdsnests and green star polyps. Additionally, I will have a few (1-3) frags of 5 or so other types. Would like to bring a 10-gallon tank for frags and have a table with a power outlet if possible.

I'll be there, will bring a full tank of fags for trade OR sale!
I believe I also have a few encrusters I can bring for the demonstration. @Cook - I'll PM you about these.

Will also bring a few for the white elephant swap!

Will we have access to electrical outlets? I can bring a small table and chair, but I would like to be able to plug in a light for a small 10 gallon frag tank.

I have a gas powered generator I can bring as well if needed for people. It’s still new in the box, got it for all the winter storms in case power went out. I just ask you provide the gas for it.

1 Attending. Will be participating in the frag swap with multiple corals. Currently, Dragon Soul torches, Green spongenode, Garf Bonsai SPS, Frogspawn, possibly Aquaman monti.
R.I.P. GARF.

If I ever get my tank able to handle SPS, I'm going to want to buy a frag of that from you in their memory.

There is limited space inside the building for those that need power. In theory there are 30 or more people with frags to trade which is why we thought of taking advantage of the outdoor space to accommodate as many as possible.

I have a generator also that I plan to bring.

I have this one I can bring with. I don’t have a frag tank to toss my frags I’ll be bringing into, and it looks like I’ll actually have quite a bit. If someone has some extra space in one, maybe we can work something out.

I should be there. I've got several corals in need of a trim. My Seasons Greetings Monti specifically has gotten a bit out of control, so i I'm happy to offer that up
