I would also say that it does look like a melanarus as well. Mine looks a little like that and the red is hard to pic up but i guess as they grow and mature the colors will become more vivid.

 @ Crappy Pic, He won't be still... After doing a little more research,I think he is a Melanarus(Juvi) and his color isn't as bold yet...
I should've PM'd you with this as I know you have some nice wrasse's yourself. I have a Christmas/Ornate Wrasse also, same tank (120g)... no major problems so far ...

After seeing the Lamrii, He doesn't look like a Melanarus at all... He just doesn't have the pattern on the head or tail as a melanarus... IDK
But does have the pattern of a Halichoeres lamarii... Any more info on a Halichoeres lamarii?
Thanks

it appears to be a Halichoeres of some sort......many juvies look the same. Without better pics, it's going to be impossible to identify, and even then, it's an educated guess....

This one may not be a mel at all, but if you have one that is drab you very likely have a male. They never look anywhere near as colorful as the females do. Even the smallest females I've seen have had beatiful color.

... I ordered a melanarus and this is what came in, I don't have any flatworm issues and he is totally healthy... I may see about rehoming him soon. I really wanted/like the color of the females. O'well... Thanks for all the info/help...
