Only one I know of here is AugustaSalty. I dont think he uses a skimmer either. You might PM him.

+1 He knows a pretty good bit about it. Only one I know of too.

According to one "manufacturer" the stuff is gold. According to another, it's just dirt and he can't beleive anybody buys it.

We have a link on this site, to a site where it has been scientifically tested, and the numbers weren't good. Search the threads and maybe you'll find it.

I have it in the bottom of my fuge. Might be an inch or an inch and a half. I run a skimmer. I can't tell you if it does anything or not so I wouldn't buy it again, but that is just my personal opinion.

I think you would benefit more from getting someone with an old established fuge to give you some sand and rubble out of it.
