I've had this montipora for a couple years now. Is had quadrupled in size. One day this summer the breaker for my chiller tripped and turned off. Tank reached 83 degrees. Everything is ok except for this one piece. It was still opening but turned bleach white in 2 weeks. Again the polyps where still coming out. Now brown algae is growing on it so it seems to me it is giving up. I've tried blowing the algae off with little success and I'm afraid to brush it. I'd really like to save it. All my levels are perfect and all my sps and lps are flourishing. Any ideas? Thank you!
