Here's an excercise for those who enjoy the thrill of the hunt (or are incredibly bored :lol2:. I spent about an hour searching and came up with nothing. Let's assume one buys LEDs to serve as auxiliary lighting for aesthetic purposes (the shimmer..whatever) and therefore does not want to block any of the lighting producd by the primary lighting source.

It would be nice to install an articulating mounting system inside a canopy (perhaps the front cover) that will allow one to change the angle of the LED lights and not interfere with the primary lighting.

I have checked everything from online hobby shops, to auto and motorcycle supply companies to even laboratory equipment Internet retailers.

If you come across something, please let me know what you find.

Gracias!

Depending on how much you want to articulate, this is probably do-able in a custom canopy without some extra gadget.

A custom canopy is not an option. I could split some 1"x1" stock at 45 or 60 degrees and attach it that way. I was just seeking the wisdom of the club.

I solved this puzzle tonight with a $2.97 curtain rod from Lowes and a few plastic cable ties. I will send pics when done. Ahh....the thrill of (inexpensive) victory!

I have a few articulating windshield mount kit parts laying around the shop... I may see what I can throw together.
