I've really learned to appreciate the chalice as I've grown up in the hobby and matured. Before, I thought they were overpriced pinheads with stupid names. (I also thought acros were merely "ugly sticks") Anyway, thought I'd share some pictures of some recent chalices I've acquired that I've been craving.

Pics are with a Canon T1i under Radium 20k, LED actinic, and VHO actinic. (I like Blue)

Wow, you've got a really nice tank. I'd love to see what it'd look like even a year or two from now, once all those frags grow out. Great collection!

You mean declare war on each other? haha. The tank is a bit packed. I'm certainly one of those newer hobbyists who enjoys the rare collectibles more than the giant colonies (though I love that too).

Luckily I just set up a new tank to house a lot of frags =)

Beautiful collection of "pinheads" you have there. I plan on housing a number of those in my new tank.

Nah, yours is under the duncan in the full tank shot. It has better colors than mine =) I think its getting too much nukage from the halides.

Ill take a pic of yours

Same here, but I enjoy watching them grow into colonies too! If I could just keep the frag tools put away long enough to do so...:D

I'm a lot more hesitant to touch SPS than any other coral. Fragging chalices is scary too in way (due to their worth monetarily).

But zoas/palys/softies/favias/etc are quick to catch the scalpel!

Here it is Reggie. Looks kinda stupid because only LED actinics are on atm. Very hard to get white balance right. =/

You definately have the fever. :) Due to contrary belief they do grow pretty fast.
