My Fish is Sick, Isn't She?

So I'm still fighting this. No one looks close to dying, but they don't look entirely comfortable either. I'm still feeding the medicine, and they're still eating it.

I noticed on the Metro bottle that it says you can add it straight to the water. Any thoughts on that? I imagine it would be much more effective if they ingest it directly, but my mandarin seems to have the parasites now and</em> I figured it might kill the parasites directly wherever they are rather than just on the fish.

I would try adding a reef safe herbal treatment. it can take weeks for the ich to be gone. Kordon Ich attack is reef safe. you just add it to the tank. also you do not even have to do WC in between treatments like some solutions require

I have a half a bottle.. about 8 oz left if you ever come closer to mall of ga.

Edit: actually it does require water change at the end of treatment but not before** like some

I still have the Paraguard if you're interested in trying it.

I would just add that you make sure you are offering fresh QUALITY nor I for your tang. I'd offer it daily given the current situation and then 3-4 times a week when disease free. A quality and balanced diet will help boost the immune system. Regals didn't get the nickname "king of ich" for nothing.

+1 on the garlic. I'd mix every batch of medicated food with it. If it gets really bad seachems high end product is called Entice.

Thanks for asking! She still has some spots on one of her eyes (is that normal?), but otherwise she's swimming and eating like normal. Everyone else looks 100% healthy too.

The only exception, sadly, is my mandarin. Last week he looked like he had parasites all over him and clearly seemed to be laboring. Tue and Wed, the parasites seemed to be gone, but he would just sit on the bottom acting like he was gasping for air. I haven't seen him since then :(

Sorry to hear about the mandarin. :-( But I am glad everyone else is doing better. Good luck.
