What a tease! We need pics!!!

I think it's great to have a freshwater subforum. There are alot of people who have both setups, and shouldn't have to belong to two different forums to talk about them. I've had nothing but f/w setups, but I heard great things about ARC and signed up so i can learn from the right people ( not store owners who only know how to sell) how to start out right, and I thank all of you for your info.

I thought it would be nice as well. Main thing is we don't want a FW subforum to divert the Primary Purpose of the ARC as a Reef Club. The forum will be reviewed at 90 days by the BoD.

I agree, but just know there are numerous store owners on here who really do care about this hobby and are NOT just here (or in business) to sell people.

Well said and very true. Despite 2 SW setups I have, I have 3 FW including my planted I just recently set up. I love being able to do it all on only one website!

I'm going to sticky a thread here with a list of ARC Sponsors that sell freshwater fish as well.

Glad to be here, AJ. As I said before, I don't have a SW setup yet, but plan to have one soon. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can before I do it, seeing as how mistakes can be VERY expensive. No, I wasn't trying to say all store owners just try to sell, and I'm sorry if I offended anyone by accident. Right now the only tank I have is a 120 FW setup with 5 YBS turtles ( I found the eggs on a jobsite, took them home, and hatched them) with 2 goldfish (they were meant to be food for the turts) 4 rosy reds ( also meant to be din-din ) 2 leopard plecos, 1 gold gourami, and 1 dwarf blue gourami. My father and I have a decent, small setup breeding FW silver veil and black marble veil angelfish. At his house, we have (5) 10 gallon tanks, (4) 20t tanks, (1) 20L tank, (1) 45t , (3) 55 , and (1) 110 gallon cube tank. I will try to get some pics up as soon as I figure out how.
