My kitchen tanks

We are going back with the rebuild having the sump and refugium and QT and frag tanks in basement. Hoping the walls and floors get put in soon so we can get this build going!

Kitchen subfloor is finally replaced. Drywall replacement scheduled for next week. Then, they can start laying the kitchen floor. Our new tank should be here just in time... keeping my fingers crossed that everyone stays on schedule.

Jeff is building our new protein skimmer from Lifereef. Looking forward to seeing it! Just finished purchasing the last of the MP40s we needed for flow. Thank you to all the ARC members getting rid of their old stuff :) and thanks to AI phasing out their old lighting now have all four Hydra 26s needed for the aquatic life 61 hybrid for the new build. All the rock is cycling in two brutes. Just need our contractor to finish laying the floor tile :) and planet aquarium to finish the tank and stand....

The wall between the dining room and the kitchen is supporting as well as filled with pipes, electrical and ducts. Rather than spend a fortune removing the wall, we cut viewing panes into the wall without damaging anything structural or mechanical. That way we can still see the reef from the dining room and the dogs cannot get into the dining room. :)

It looks really nice, I can't wait to see it completed. I know it started off as disaster, but it seems like your coming back better and stronger then before. I love the sump by the way, it's gorgeous.

New subpanel in place, electrical pulled, so kitchen walls can go back up :) tank window caulked and painted. Hoping to see big changes in the kitchen and house in the next 2 weeks. D693F362-6084-4193-A12D-570D49626E35.jpegB30A7934-C8CB-4ED8-91A5-F8021A66BB65.jpeg
