I super glued a frag and as soon as I put it to a rock my tang bit it and super glued his mouth shut. After 3 days it finally came off and he can eat again

I have a theory about this. A lot of herbivores often are attracted to and ingest bubbles or bite at the surface for a "certain" reason. I think the superglue knobs are quite similar. Regardless, it's usually not a risk.

I remember a member a few years back having the same issue and final result. Glad all went well.

Pretty crazy to think about, but I'm now more surprised that this doesn't happen more often!

That might have been me! Or Miami dolphin.

Happened to my sailfin a few years back. Caught him and scapeled the glue was fine after that. Held him still in saltwater soaked cloths.

I would doubt that it completely sealed the mouth shut but just made it so they couldn't open it completely.
