Need Advice on setting up 150 Gallon Reef

We started on refinishing the cabinet today I'm going to see if I can upload some pics. I think we are going with black laquer but I'm not sure yet. The wood grain is so pretty I hate to cover it up

Well, I am in the process of selling many things to afford everything since all I have is the glass tank & stand. I'm hoping at least to get most of the equipment bought in a few weeks if my $ comes in as planned. Crossing fingers here

Having to take time and put it together slowly makes you appreciate the final result that much more.. I'm dying to get mine up and running but don't want to rush things.. I have a lot of things I want to do and this extra time is going to help ensure it runs as smooth as possible..

Did you ever determine for sure if your tank is drillable?

Thank you I thought it did too especially since the doors were busted when I got it. Can't even tell now. I'm taking the whole tank to Jen in Canton to let them drill it & gonna try to buy everything in one trip if I can. Looking at about 1,500 give or take some

Oh, yes she is a sweetheart & I look forward to meeting her. She took so much time to talk with me the other day. I know she will definitely get me started in the right direction She did tell me to be looking for a used sump if possible
