and the anem

i bet a million dollars that Jenn is one of the first five replies!!!!! im just teasing i know you like to help out alot jenn and you are great at it as well.

I agree the anemone looks like a condy or possibly a seabae. I'm guessing condy though with the pinker foot. Yep, and top ones look like cabbage leather.

thanks alot the anem is deff not a condy i have one in my living room tank, and there is NO similiarity except white color these stay bubbled up kinda like a bubble anem for most of the day not long and wavy like a condy

oh and if it helps i have had for them 2 months and the guy before me had them for a few himself and they are barely bigger than the size of a quarter

looks like a bleached and shrunken bubble imo, thats what mine looks like when it reaches for light

yes they both are

i was thinking since there were 2 of them and they are so small could they possibly left over from a pom pom crab that may have passed what kind of anem are those that they carry around?

only when it eats!

one of them (smaller one) reaches for the light during theday. the funny thing about that is that he is closer to the light too:confused2:

The nems from a pom pom is of the species Bunodeopsis, usually resemble a cross between a mojano and aptasia.

nope deff not that then and oh yea it doesnt sting me forgot that part:doh:

I would agree that it looks like a baby, bleached out bubble. Start feeding it and make sure it has proper light and see if it colors up.

I obtained 10 or so of something that looks quite similar last week. They were in a sump so figured they were babies so I placed them into a qt tank with good light to see what happens.

no not a majano. i just googled the crap out of some pictures and it seems to look like all the bleached gbta's ive been finding. if so will the color come back? and why do they not inflate and spread out wide like most i see?
