This is growing on my live rock in my sump. Could someone help with identification? Thanks.

its a macro algae... i don't think it grows horribly fast, but you can pull it off it it bothers u.

It looks like red bubble algae to me. I always pull it out if I ever get any started since it can really grow fast.
 
I was afraid it was a nuisance algae. I'm going to pull out the live rock out of the sump and nuke it. Thanks for the help!
 
Pull it off and get really active with water changes - it'll go away.

Seriously guys, that's a fairly rare macro..... Bob Lemke could give you the name of, but you were lucky to have it, I hope you haven't desrtoyed it!
 
No, bout 4 years ago, I started a thread asking about an algae that I found in my tank that looked exactly like that...... A member offered to buy it from me, however, t died on it's own before I sold it.....
 
dont pop it inside the tank! i usually scrape off with a razor outside of the tank, then fw (rodi) dip, if i have any BA
