I don't really know where to post this question. My husband has asked others but they want to be secretive about the information. My husband is wanting to import fish and corals , he has tanks set up, rodi water station, saltwater station, etc. he is wanting to get his license to import them and sell them and he is just wanting to be sent in the right direction to get it. we live in Georgia so could someone help me figure this out for him?

thank you

I’m in Middle Georgia and had a friend whom had a local fish store.
He got his live marine life from the following place:
Sunpet.com
Sunpet is located in Atlanta, Georgia.
I hope this is helpful information.

The word he is looking for us "trans shipper" - that's the person who lives between the breeder/collector -> wholesale/retail.

He is trying to start a LFS? If so he should probably go work for one to get an idea of how it all works, who the local wholesalers are, and the general feel of the business.

He has his mind set on this .
If he really wants to make money he should become a diver and collect for himself and sell his stock nearby. It is a trade that is very rough on livestock when shipping. You folks could make regular tips to the keys and collect and write off the travel as a business expense. I held the first ever issued permits from the Army Corps of Engineers to cultivate liverock in the Gulf of Mexico. The prices for Gulf specimens now is INSANE.
