New addition with pictures

I feed mine frozen Krill, Whole Shrimp , and silversides on occasion. Mine will also eat flakes and pellets if they can get to them fast enough before the fish eat them up. They like Rods food also..the herbivore blend and the regular...Their pigs, they will keep on eating as long as you feed them... I normally feed mine every 2-3 days sometimes more depending on my work schedule.. There metabolism is slow so they dont really need daily feedings or bi-daily for that matter, even though Im sure they woud eat if I offered it to them...Mine eat off of a feeding stick or in my case I just use my long plastic forceps so I can hold onto the food good....

Neat addition Joe! I've had my gdm since March, on a steady diet of silversides every 3 days or so, but I'll toss him some fresh shrimp every now and then. Careful if your overflows are uncovered . I've seen mine swim into them on numerous occasions with my previous setup when I had them uncovered, but he was smart enough to swim back out.

I use a feeding stick early morning before the harlequin and the bluethroat are out. He been a perfect citizen in my tank, leaving my shrimp alone.

Well I added him to the display the other day and he seems to be doing well. I am happy to say he comes out more often then I thought he would and wins the award for the coolest thing I have added to my reef tank. I was a little concerned he might get stung by the elegance coral but apparently not because I see him in it at least once a day. Most of the fish ignore him except the tang which likes to remind him he is bigger.:)

Thanks for the info guys.

Yea I was never a big eel guy ether but I love this guy. I was always afraid to buy one of these thinking I may never really see it but luckily that is not the case so far. Aaron made me a great deal as well.

Me either. He's changing my mind quick though. Middle pic is my new screen saver by the way. Thanks!
