New ATI bulbs not working after 3 hours of use?

i have two 80 watt ati blue plus bulbs powered by a workhorse 7 ballast.

The bulbs went online this morning and one bulb quit working after 3 hours of use. No sign of it being blown. No black marks in tube. Nor scortch marks on the ends. I swapped the bulbs and the other worked in its spot.

Anyone have this happen before?

You sure they're in the sockets correctly and making contact?

Yeah. I think I got a bad bulb. I put the other bulb in it and it worked flawlessly. I ran it for several hours with the reflectors aiming upward so my corals didn't get burned.

Probably a bad bulb. It happens...not often but it does.
