Just thought I'd share this new build. 40 breeder drilled for modular marine ghost overflow. Modular marine is soo backed up they shutdown there website but i got my order in right b4! Took a little over 2 weeks to get but it was worth it. Nicest looking overflow ive seen. Day 1 i drilled tank and painted back glass and started on plumbing. Will be plumbed into my existing system 20200627_155315.jpg20200627_181531.jpg20200627_182348.jpg

I like the ghost overflow very clean and doesn't take up alot of space. Your off to a good start
Agreed. I put some time and thought into this build. Its the first tank im actually being patient with and taking my time on.

Taking your time will pay off in the long run. It's tough tho when you have a tank and equipment just sitting in front of you. Been there

I know right! The only reason im able to keep my cool now is cuz its replacing an old tank. So i really cant swap it out till its ready cuz the old tank has livestock in it

Day 2
Set up lighting. 2 Noopsyche on the right for the nems. 1 radion xr30 on left for frags light is currently in use on replacement tank. Btw i bought a Noopsyche mounting arm for 28$ and diy'd a radion bracket to it. Cost way less than radion arm. Does the same thing looks just as good.20200628_174538.jpg20200628_175123.jpg20200628_175135.jpg20200628_175146.jpg20200628_175157.jpg

Thats sh$t was not easy! But its done and i think i did a pretty good job. All the clowns look funny tryin to cram in the pissed off nems.20200704_164627.jpg20200704_164649.jpg20200704_164659.jpg15938957956271977615896183313626.jpg15938958613812246175900252145298.jpg

Hey @Rickdareefa that looks really good.... But FYI the nems can get past that egg crate if they want to.
Yea i know its really more of a deterrent. Like maybe theyll take the path of least resistance. Plus all 3 of my nems now are quite large 3" wide when fully closed and 8 inches when open plus ill meet them with some resistance as well.

I've had one escape a fish trap through one of the holes in it. And this one was about the same size you are describing.

Thats crazy. Still dont matter tho i kinda wanted a seperate frag tank feel. If you look at the pics i even cut 2 holes big enough for the fish 2 get thru. So im already accepting the fact that i might have to deal with it.

Hard to believe this is the same tank anymore. Its now running as its own system when and just gradually turned into a mixed reef.20201128_133504.jpg20201128_133538.jpg20201128_133554.jpg20201128_133610.jpg20201128_133622.jpg
