New from Macon

Good news!
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20

Going to do a WC once the water is heated and aerated (mixed about an hour ago).

There is a small amount of green algae but only on the dry rock... None on the live rock. Doesn't look like diatoms. hmmm.... Should I add a small CUC? If so, can I get that at Macon Pets? What would you guys recommend?

Thanks :-)

Or coraline.

It's already grown some... Maybe just expanded... But either way, looks bigger than it did before

Thats what all the guys say. hehehehehehe

Acclimating my fishies.. After the water change, everything was spot on... Nitrates down to 5... Figure I'll keep on water changes... Maybe 2 gallons 2x/ week... Mostly bc I like tinkering with the thing... Hopefully everything down to 0 in a month then add cuc or corals... Algae barely there... Then again haven't had my lights on during the cycle.

Look at those cute little buggers... Dripping for 30 mins now

I would add the clean up crew sooner than that if I were. I would make it the next purchase. You will get two benifits out of it. One, you will have something in the tank to consume excess food that would normally decay and two, it will give your bacteria colonies time to catch up to the increased bio-load associated with the fish.

Can we have the LFS in Tucker move to Macon? Or better yet, just have all of the LFS in the Atlanta area move to Macon. Then you 'll can drive down here to visit our local fish stores. That would be wonderful.

Since all of the LFS are now in Macon, we can start having our monthly meetings here instead of Atlanta. Whatja think, Rich. Sounds like a plan! :lol2:
