Hey thx for looking,

I'm building this tank, Acrylic 400g 5'x5'x 27" ( Tank from Jason at Big Fish) slowly & collecting items.

Mixed Reef inhabitance

Would love any feed back on "flow and equipment" in this tank.

Returns would be (2) 1" Lines / two separate pumps approx. 1800gph each
Jabao currently LOL but i look at Abyzz and want....
Maybe they will go to the closed loop effort later on.

This is mostly Regarding circulation flow, I'm looking into:

(4) Tunze Orca w/ Turbelle Ecostream 6105.002

Or

(2) Stream3+ at the back wall and (2) Orca / 6105's at front corners

Stream 3 Plus
6105
ORCA

The (4) Orca / 6105's Located in the in the corners, dropping in from the top perimeter bracing.
Yes, Ill need to drill top for this situation
Yes, the Tunze Clamps is probably not usable, and will need something clever

Wife seen helping me plan:

I have a big external skimmer if you need one. MRC MR-6R
Nice. Actually, I already have a large MRC recirculating scammer. I sure do wish pictures were easier to add. I’m not willing to go through all that trouble right now. I got it from a guy off of here long ago when RAJ was president original server days.

why are pictures hard to add?

I enjoy having this old skimmer from 2005 maybe 2008. I am not certain when i got it or when it was fabricated but it was long ago LOL. I've been told it was a prototype back in the day.
Pic is the MRC Recirc Skimmer, the Air Mixing Becketts and recirc parts are still shelved until I commit to placement of things.

The Sump 47x21.5x17.75, is from Big Fish / Jason

The filtration general set up (location of things for maintenance) is slow progress.

I need to unbox the UV and get that planned out soon

Generating a list of plumbing fittings as this plan develops :)

I have 2 Turbelle stream 3+’s that I got as part of a used setup I bought. Been thinking about selling them if you’re interested.

Yep that's interesting. Message me if you want to sell.
I just purchased two Orca 6105's and will need two other bad boys to work out the flow.

Installed the subpanel ( still need to close up wall) and pulled most of the wire over the week end. The electrician is really good and available to help if anyone is in need.

RODI Unit I'm utilizing

RD-322, 6-stage 260 gal/day Reverse Osmosis Water System+Large DI filter + Bonus Pressure Gauge

1st stage: high capacity, 5 micron sediment filter, to remove sediment, rust, sand, (replace every 12 months)

2nd stage: high capacity carbon filter, coconut shell carbon block filter removes chlorine, taste & odor (replace every 12 months)

3rd stage: high capacity carbon filter, coconut shell carbon block filter further removing chlorine to ensure 100% removal of chlorine (replace every 12 months)

4th stage: US Membrane TFC-150 high rejection membrane: 100% Made in USA, Specially made for high purity applications. Through our own testing using 417ppm and 70psi input tap water, this membrane has better rejection rate than Dow chemical Filmtec 75GPD and GE membranes.

5th stage: US Membrane TFC-150 high rejection membrane: 100% Made in USA, Specially made for high purity applications.

6th stage: 20" large DI filter (de-ionized, de-mineralize filter), Nuclear grade, color changing DI filter with refillable cartridge. The DI filter removes remaining of dissolved solids after RO system. A ball valve is included for dispensing DI water into open containers or to open tank. GOOD for reef, aquarium, hydroponics applications.
