Long time listener, first time caller.
My son and I have recently joined the ranks of this great hobby. We both have had freshwater aquariums over the many years, but saltwater tanks/fish always seemed like a hobby that was out of reach (at least for me).
We did "take the plunge" (so to speak) last November and bought a used 92 gallon corner tank. It is setup down in the basement as our fish only tank.
Recently, I bought a 65 gallon tank/hood/stand from our local LFS. I couldn't resist the deal and bought it with the intent of setting up a reef tank. Oh boy, what did I get myself in to? :lol2:
