it's hard to tell, we need the details on the light to figure out if it will be enough!! Wattage espically!!
 
Here is a great link for Hang on the Back Overflow boxes. I used this when I built the one I had on my smaller tank. It worked great but there are dangers involved in this type of overflow.

Durso is the most common type. In my earlier post I gave you a link to the Bean Animal style. Given a choice, I would never go with anything other than the Bean Animal myself.
 
I think I'm gona drill the tank now that I have heard from a lot of ppl that most of the time the bottom is only tempered So I have to find out where to drill my holes and how to build my over flow boxes
