.......when replacing UV sterilizer bulb AND you have placed the return line OUTSIDE of the sump, make sure you place the said return line back into the sump PRIOR to powering up the pump! Believe me your wife will be lots happier if these simple steps are taken! Where did I put that mop bucket?

Lol!

Just as a general consensus, a mojority of wives would be happier if we weren't reefers.

Mine likes the reefer... LOL

And not the plants in it... Just the man...

Man! I want to play along with y'all.... But it's probably best if I keep my mouth shut.

PROUD TO BE A REEFER!!!

+1 thats exactly what i was thinking!

She was sitting here watching the "reef master" at work when I cut the pump back on. I'm standing back hands on hips admiring my handy work (hmmmm) walk into shop mess around for a bit and she calls me back into the room with the phrase "something doesn't sound right, it sounds different! Panic sets in as I remember moving that stubborn hose out of the way! Well needless to say i decided to post the incident for everyone's enjoyment. Take care I gotta clean up a mess!

I got you beat. My old tank sat on the entertainment center at eye level. I built my own HOB overflow for it. My mistake? I didn't paint the acrylic and algae started growing in it. When the tank happened to overflow was when my wife had her nose pressed up against the tank and the water started cascading down on her head.

I wouldn't recommend that you try to replicate it.
