NP Biopellets 500 ml Solid Vodka Dosing Pellets

Fellow reefers,
Any of you used the vodka dosing pellets with success. Seems to be a good way to improve the water from the nitrates and phosphates. Appears to be pretty expensive to use. Any thoughts?
