ORA spotted mandarin goby

I've got two I've had for over a year now, I have never ever witnessed them eating prepare food. They are live and well. Maybe they eat food that goes into the rockwork. I dunno. I haven't added any pods in quite a while but they're thriving, you can see them especially at night with a red lens over a dim light.

That misnomer alone has undoubtedly contributed to the demise of many of these fish. After all, in general, gobies are pretty easy to keep.

Dragonets, not so much. It's an industry-wide mistake (deliberate or otherwise).

Same with the Scooter Dragonet which is often mis-named as a "Scooter Blenny".

Drives me nuts.

Under the wave sold me a scooter blenny in my first ever SW tank and said he would eat fine :(

My scooter lived in a mini bow 7 with a pair of clowns and would eat flakes just fine.

So far I have had mine (not ORA) for a little over 4 months. He eats mysis and brine shrimp for sure, but I've not seen him eat anything else. When I bought him (and now you're all going to yell at me) his belly was a little pinched, but within a week it looked normal again.
