I was looking at replacing my chiller the other day... and the

PACIFIC COAST CL-280 (1/10hp) chiller requires between 500gph-800gph...

isn't that a TON of flow for a 1/10 chiller? (seems like too much flow, IMO)

what do y'all know about Pacific Coast chillers (as opposed to Current USA, or JBJ, or EcoPlus)... ?

Anyone know anything about the brand?

I like pacific coast. They're a pretty reputable source. But that is a lot of flow, maybe it gets super cold.....

ok.. good to hear about the quality of the units!

andreG... did you run that kind of flow (500gpm=800gpm) through it? (I probably wont.. currently I run about 250-300 through my chiller but it's a dinosaur and probably doesn't even have any refrigerant in it)..

?

I can't afford it... what do you think I am, a pilot or something? :)
