Kinda i was not meaning a full blown puffer but a small one. I really don't know much about them.

A tiny tiny puffer may be ok in a 30 for a VERY SHORT amount of time, but puffers are M E S S Y!! Especially Porkies!! They may live in a 30, but they wouldn't thrive in a 30- You'd have to have some massive filtration on there or it would get nasty quick.

I had a porkie that ate about 50 bucks worth of stuff, snails, crabs, tiny fish.. Anyway, he was my favorite fish ever, but I had to give him up or everything else up- I cried when I left him at the store
