Hooray, it's full of water now and hopefully cycling a bit. I need to kick start the cycle with something....I dumped 5 gallons water from a water change, and some sand that had been shipped "live", but arrived about 2 weeks after it was supposed to...stunk pretty good.

I've never had to "cycle" a tank before...I used to live in FL and only used NSW. Since I'm not planning on running a skimmer on this frag tank, how long should I wait before I start adding shrooms, rics, zoo's, leathers, etc.. ?

I would wait a week, so whats the plan, are you growing colonies? selling frags? For your own personal frags???

I'll be doing a bit of both. I've got several large colonies that will be getting fragged out, and then the "mama" colony regrown, etc. Idea is to have enough space / larger colonies that it's all done on a rotating schedule.
