Plate coral eating Xenia?

So I just noticed a xenia stalk floating in my tank and watched it settle on my plate coral. The tentacles on the plate are grabbing it and pulling it toward its mouth... anyone ever saw a coral eat another coral in their tanks before? this is a new one for me. We'll see if he hangs onto it.

yes i put my trumpet coral next to my xenia for that reason so it could pretty cool to watch too

So you used the trumpet coral to "control" xenia growth? Very interesting.
I have two types of xenia, so I might have to move my hammer coral over there if they get out of control.

well its hit or miss i tried it and it worked now xenia went another direction
