WHAT THE HECK! When I looked on BRS it was 1" or larger. Or I'm just too tired, or overwhelmed...who knows
If you shorten the hose at the tank and shift the sump slightly to the left in the stand it'll fit. It also adds another unionIt will have to stay as-is. We have that exact true union ball valve (the one Hui referenced). Absolutely no space for it.
I can't shift the sump in the stand without reconfiguring the drain lines. I can fit one of those gate valves from BRS or Marine Depot but they arent union valves. If you shorten the hose at the tank and shift the sump slightly to the left in the stand it'll fit. It also adds another union
You'll be much happier in a year or two.
My guess would be tired. I have done it many of times lolWHAT THE HECK! When I looked on BRS it was 1" or larger. Or I'm just too tired, or overwhelmed...who knows
You could always add the unions in. Just add a union on each side. Not sure the room you are working with though.I can't shift the sump in the stand without reconfiguring the drain lines. I can fit one of those gate valves from BRS or Marine Depot but they arent union valves.

I used these- great product. They also have the ball valve which I personally find easier to control- but others prefer gate valves. Also don’t forget a check valve if your sump can’t handle your DT overflow in a power outage. What about this Zap? View attachment 19079
