I used to use this model too before I got a generator. It works great.Also budget backup for me- drop this baby in the display, dual outlets battery powered then I can usb c to a charging bank if need be,
Has worked for two extended outages. Never had to deal in the winter though

I have something similar, just a different t brand. I think it has saved my tank twice during 6-12+ hour outages. One time I had to heat up water and float it in the tank to keep the tank warm.
