Protein Skimmer vs Auto Top Off

Please help me get this straight...
If the autotopoff adds fresh ro/di water to the tank to compensate for changes in water level due to evaporation, won't it also add to replace water lost to skimming? If so, won't that cause my salinity to slowly decrease?

Or am I overthinking this...

but how much WATER does your skimmer really pull???

Looking at your model of skimmer and setup, you should be fine.

if you find it going down, every 2 weeks or so, you can add some saltwater to sump.

It'll be made up for in your weekly water change (provided you're doing weekly).
