Purple people eaters - not growing

I have a frag of 4 true PPE's. Everything else in the tank seems to be growing really well. Just not these. I have a 75 gallon tank with 2x250w Ushio 20k bulbs, and two Mp40's for flow.

My question, under what conditions have you guys noticed good growth.

These things are very slow growers.... I get a polyp maybe once every 2 monthes... but I only have 4-5 atm.

Extremely slow growers. I bought 2 polyps back in October maybe? FINALLY has 3 heads, and the new one is still a baby.

My Wham'N'Watermlon zoa has pumped out probably 50 in the same timespan, haha

why arent these things more valuable!

Supposidly if you cut the flesh a little between them it makes them grow.
