PVC Cement

Is PVC cement reef/fish safe? I'm assuming so but want to confirm. If so, how long should it set up before adding it to the water lines? I'm adding a PVC tee to my return line.

We used it it's , and if there's any negative I have not seen it

Thanks, from what I read it appears fine. One can never be too cautious.

I have never had anything die from PVC glue from my uses. I can say 1st hand we just got done plumbing my system about 2 months ago or month 1/2. I have also added a water change device with fish and coral in system and lost nothing used following day.

Yep, cures almost instantly upon contact with water. If you could run a "flush" it would be good. I have run new plumbing in an existing system, using pvc cement with no ill efects. wow i cant tyopoe.:doh:

Thanks guys. Gave it a few hours to setup and added it into the works. Everything is good this morning.
