question about stand

Well I have a 150g tank and the sump blew out last night. My question is the front center brace is in my way of taking out the sump. Would it hurt anything to take it out and put it back just to do the sump swap avoiding taking out the display tank??

Depends on the stand (design and size) It was put there for a reason so we will have to determine that reason. Pics?

One option might be to screw in a header board across the top before removing the brace a 2 x 4 should be fine,,, Like doubling up on the cross brace on the top. that should hold it well enough while the center brace is out. but as posted before....it was put there for a reason....believe me the company would have omitted it to save money....if they could have
