Quiet Pump Recommendations?

I recently swapped out my mag 18b (pondmaster I think) with a coralife turbo sea pump. The new pump has a more noticeable hum to it than I expected. I'm considering keeping the coralife as a backup and swapping it out with something quieter.

I need at least 1200gph flow, and the placement would need to be external. I've started looking at eheim, iwaki, blue line, etc., but wanted to see what experience members have had in terms of the noise level, or if there's some decibel chart on-line somewhere that I can check out.

Thanks,
Brian

Look at the Water Blaster pump line. I have been using them for a couple of years without an issue or sound. Very quiet and very low energy consumption. A great combination.

I've had good experience with the Tunze Silence line

Edit: my blue line is also very quiet

Quiet One pumps are.......well.....quiet. :-)

I am going on a cruise.....on my lawnmower around my yard.

Quiet Ones for submersible applications and Reeflo for external applications although I'm very curious as to how the new Jebao DC pumps will be. If they are like the other DC pumps on the market, they will be dead quiet!
